Transformation & Collaboration

In addition to the academic, social engagement, communication and functional needs addressed through the program, students have access to various therapies/services. Therapy is offered based on the student’s Individualized Education Plans, which could include behavior analysis, speech & language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and orientation and mobility instruction.

Outcomes

Berrien RESA participates in the Statewide Autism Resources and Training (START) Project, a collaborative network that involves educators, support professionals, and families who come together to connect, share and grow to better teach students on the autism spectrum.
